Join us for a photographic rescue with local artist, Kari Bishop. Kari has been living and working in Granbury, Texas for eight years. She holds a BA in Psychology with a minor in Fine Art from Southern Methodist University. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions from Los Osos to San Francisco, CA to north Texas including Dallas and Granbury. A favorite past show was “Recollection” with the Alamo Square Bistro in San Francisco. As well, she was asked to show with the Haggerty Gallery at the University of Dallas, as well as the Deep Ellum Film Festival group shows. In addition, accolades include the Communication Arts 41st Annual Photography Competition Award of Excellence.
Kari’s photography can be described as dream like, ethereal and elegant. She has great passion for her work and her subjects as they communicate often overlooked details, quiet beauty and even discord. Her message is honest and thought provoking, as it triggers feelings of nostalgia. “Scout” with us through September 30 every Last Saturday Gallery Night. Additionally, enVision’s gallery is open weekdays from 10-5pm.
