While we have benefited greatly from all of the much needed rain, this type of weather can be challenging when trying to plan a trip! Well, friends, not everything you do has to be outside, right?
If you’re one of the few who don’t get discouraged by the rain and enjoy being out in it, by all means embrace it! The lake is up, all boat ramps are open, and we’ve got fish for days. There’s nothing wrong with “living a little.”

- Granbury Opera House- For those of you who love live entertainment and standing-ovation-worthy productions, this one’s for you! This is one of our most popular attractions and it’s even located right on the downtown square. So, you can enjoy a nice dinner at one of our many
downtown diningrestaurants and be at the Opera House in less than 5 minutes. All shows are inside, and are playing every weekend! Shows such as Legally Blonde, To Kill A Mockingbird, It’s a Wonderful Life, Driving Miss Daisy, and many more have been performed throughout the years! Well guess what moms and dads? It’s PINS to the rescue! This is a newly renovated facility that is family-friendly and full of entertainment. Every
Friday and Saturday night they have a Glow Bowl and special discounts. Yes, you read that correctly. I said discounts! They even upgraded their bar and grill with a menu full of delicious choices, so you don’t have to leave and go get food that actually tastes appetizing. It’s a win-win situation here, guys. - Museums- Did you know Granbury is home to more than seven different museums? They’re even located near each other so it doesn’t require a lot of walking/driving if, perhaps, it decides to rain. Whether you want to learn more about Granbury’s earliest residents, get a feel for the day-to-day life of a pioneer, experience how the county’s less law-abiding residents lived, and much more, we’ve got you covered! It only makes sense that a town as rich in history as Granbury would be home to a diverse mix of museums.

This incredible team of entertainers provide the best in family entertainment, with performances that feature a ton of the best talent from all over the country!
