Granbury’s Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration

Beginning Tuesday evening, July 3rd, the D&D Rockin’ Rods Car Show kicks it all off at 7:00pm at the Granbury Nissan location on Highway 377. This signature showcase features over 150 cars on display, from hot rods to trucks to late models and customized vehicles. The public loves to vote on their favorites and awards are presented at the end of the night. Also planned for Tuesday evening is a live concert in Hewlett Park. The “Concert in the Park” is presented by 95.3 K-HITS and will feature the award-winning “Inversion Band.” This band is a top notch 11-piece show band voted “Best of the Best” by Modern Luxury Magazine and spotlights top 40 favorites from the ‘60s through the ‘90s. They’ll have you on your feet and dancing in the aisles under the Texas stars. The free concert kicks off at 7:00pm in the park and visitors are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, coolers, and comfy clothes. Nearby food trucks will have refreshments on hand to quench your thirst and your hunger. They’ll feature choice picks from burgers, sausages on sticks, and sandwiches to something to help keep you cool, like cold drinks, snow cones, and ice cold beer.
