Honoring Hood's Heroes

Details

Hood County has taken the initial steps to join the Chisholm Trail 100 Club!

Hood County is excited to kick-off their fundraising campaign with a “Honoring Hood’s Heroes” event on January 24th at the Lake Granbury Conference Center from 6:30-8:30. Taya Kyle - New York Times Best Selling author of American Wife will be the featured speaker, along with musical guests Ridge Roberts (the 2018 World Fiddle Champion), The Band James A’ Mairie, as well as Coffey Anderson! The fundraiser on the 24th promises to be a patriotic night to honor and celebrate Hood County's first responders and will also include:

  • desserts
  • cash bar
  • live auction

“Host a Hero” sponsor tables are available to purchase and include the hosting of two of Hood County first responders at the sponsored table. If you can not attend on the 24th, please consider a donation to help Hood County raise the needed funding. For questions, call (817) 308-7427.

The Chisholm Trail 100 Club is a 501c3 non-profit organization with a mission to support the First Responders and their families in the event of a catastrophic event with line of duty life - and serious injury - insurance coverage, as well as scholarship opportunities for children of First Responders.
