We are excited to announce our Hood County 6th Annual Battle of the Badges Blood Drive, a community wide blood drive event and friendly competition between our local first responders — including the sheriff’s office, fire department, and police department. This event not only helps save lives but also strengthens the bond between our community and its everyday heroes. We have an average of 80+ donors!
Each donor has the opportunity to cast a vote for their favorite agency, giving our first responders some well-deserved bragging rights — all while supporting a critical cause. The winning department is recognized in Commissioners Court and given a trophy.
