Be sure to mark March 6, 2021 on your calendars. That’s the date The Sons of the Republic of Texas, in partnership with the Historic Granbury Merchants Association and the Bridge Street History Center, present the 2nd annual "TEXAS INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION - REMEMBER THE ALAMO!” The celebration will be at 2:00 PM at the Gazebo (north side) of the Hood County Courthouse. The celebration will include Texas' stories of struggle for survival and freedom with music by Ridge Roberts (member of the SRT), a Granbury ISD Choir, and special guest Dr. John Tabor on bagpipes. Bring a blanket or get there early for a chair to enjoy the story of the making of our Republic!
