Welcome to Double D Lodge, a warm and inviting log cabin retreat nestled beneath tall shade trees in a quiet Granbury neighborhood just minutes from the Historic Square. This home is perfect for families and small groups who want to relax, play, and reconnect in a peaceful, cozy setting. When you arrive, you’ll find a spacious front yard with a charming porch and seating area, perfect for morning coffee. The driveway accommodates up to four vehicles, plus a carport for one large vehicle. Inside, the living room features comfortable seating for eight, two sofas, a chair, and a large smart TV for movie nights. (The fireplace is decorative only and not for guest use.) To the left of the entryway, a dining area offers open shelving, family games, and a table for shared meals. A second dining nook off the kitchen provides seating for four. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, including full-size appliances, cookware, utensils, and dinnerware. There’s also a smaller refrigerator in the kitchen and an additional full-size refrigerator in the adjoining laundry area for extra storage. Enjoy a morning cup at the dedicated coffee bar, featuring a Keurig, drip coffee maker, and complimentary K-Cups, creamers, and sugars. Guests also have access to a full washer and dryer with starter laundry supplies provided. Off the laundry room, the converted garage serves as a spacious game room with epoxy floors, a full-size ping-pong table, air hockey table, a train table for children, and oscillating fans for comfort. All four bedrooms feature queen beds, nightstands, and full-size closets. The primary suite includes a TV, ample closet space, and an ensuite bathroom with a tub, shower, and vanity. The remaining bedrooms are comfortably furnished with cozy linens and simple, welcoming decor. Step outside to the large backyard shaded by mature trees. The covered porch features a swing, Weber propane grill, fire pit table, hammock, and plenty of seating. Cornhole boards are also available for outdoor fun. This home is pet-friendly for one well-behaved dog with a $125 pet fee. Please include your dog in your reservation so the fee is applied automatically. Unauthorized pets will incur a $250 fee.
