VIPs - Visitor Information Professionals

At Visit Granbury, we deeply value the incredible support of our volunteers — our VIPs. These dedicated individuals help us extend a warm welcome to visitors at our Visitor Center, during events throughout town, and wherever friendly faces are needed around the community. Their enthusiasm and hospitality are a vital part of what makes Granbury so special.

This page will serve as an information hub for ways to get involved, volunteer opportunity sign up links, and a place to recognize all of their hard work!

Current Volunteer Opportunities:

Goosebump Jump - January 17, 2026

- Visit Granbury's Annual community outreach charity event held on the City Beach and Conference Center Parking lot

- Volunteers needed for a variety of duties, please view sign up genius to pick your slot

- Goosebump Jump volunteer meeting Monday, January 12 at 4:00pm

Front Desk Help (ongoing)

-Assist Information Specialists with hosting the Visitor Center front desk. Welcome visitors and answer phones.

-Weekend and holiday help needed with an occasional mid week slot during our staff meeting etc.

Rack Card Refill (once a month) and welcome signs (as needed)

-Making a walk around the square checking our rack cards in each business, replacing old versions and refilling where needed.

-On occasion we make welcome signs for a group coming to the Square, we'll give a welcome sign to each business and request they hang it in their window or display somehow.
