Visit the Granbury Historic Railroad Depot, built in 1914 during the frontier days when railroads were a vital transportation link for towns.
The Granbury Light Plant was built in 1903 by the Granbury Grain Milling Company, and has been designated a Granbury Historic Landmark.
If you want to learn more about Granbury’s earliest residents, make your first stop at the Hood County Courthouse Museum.
The Bridge Street History Center is dedicated to preserving and telling the stories of Granbury and Hood County’s early inhabitants.
Visit the Elizabeth Crockett Memorial – the final resting place of Davy Crockett’s widow.

Experience the arts at the Dora Lee Langdon Cultural and Education Center, the Shanley House & other art galleries of Granbury.
Step, or should we say drive, back to yester-year at the Brazos Drive-In Theater.
The beautifully renovated Granbury Opera House hosts fine productions from the Granbury Theatre Company, as well as a state-of-the-art sound and lighting.

Get up-close and personal with endangered species as well as popular favorites at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center.
Dinosaur Valley State Park contains some of the best preserved dinosaur tracks in the world, including brosaur and Acrocanthosaurus tracks. The park also includes two dinosaur models which were once a part of the 1964 New York World’s Fair.
Take students on a star-gazing adventure, a bird tour, or even to a monarch butterfly tagging event… all at the Acton Nature Center.

Visit one of Granbury’s many parks, such as the City Beach Park or the Granbury City Park.
