Granbury City Beach Park

Lake Granbury has its own sandy beach at the City Beach Park which is perfect for swimming and picnicking. The beach park includes public restrooms, a spray park, SUP/volleyball/bicycle concessionaire, kayak rentals in the summer, and picnic pavilions available on a first-come, first-served basis. Also, the beach is a great place to access our boardwalk. As well, it is within walking distance to our historic downtown square where there are many places to eat and shop when you need a break from the sun. Life Jacket Loaner Station The life jacket loaner station is a permanent unmanned station stocked with free life jackets that anyone visiting the beach can borrow while they are there. City Beach Rules: No dogs on beach No fires of any kind, including grills. No overnight camping. No person shall dump, deposit, or leave any bottles, broken glass, ashes, paper boxes, cans, dirt rubbish, waste, garbage, refuse or other trash. Glass containers of every type are expressly prohibited. No person shall consume or possess for the purpose of consumption, any alcoholic beverage. No person shall use, carry, or possess firearms of any description or any other forms of weapons.
